A structured two-stage programme ensuring every deployed worker receives ongoing protection, fair treatment, and direct support throughout their employment abroad.
Our monitoring system is built around two key checkpoints — an early arrival review and a recurring quarterly assessment.
Domestic workers are required to log their welfare status into the system within the first 7 to 10 days of employment. This early monitoring phase verifies contract compliance and immediate working and living conditions to catch any issues before they escalate.
This recurring review ensures sustained welfare, legal compliance, and proper contract conditions are maintained throughout employment. Coordinators verify worker-reported data and take corrective action when red flags are identified. The system auto-tags each update with the current quarter (Q1–Q4).
Workers can submit their welfare status directly via this form. All submissions are reviewed by a JOJUVI coordinator within 48 hours.
Please answer each item honestly. Your responses are confidential and protected.
If you or someone you know is in an unsafe or urgent situation abroad, contact JOJUVI or the nearest Ugandan Embassy immediately. Do not wait for the next scheduled update.
